No Bull

Viva Toro
188 Berry Street

Wow, has Berry Street, changed! Viva Toro is located in a reused old warehouse, but they have done an excellent job, redecorating and the feel of this Tex-Mex beer joint complete with mechanical bull is just right.

Another thing that is right about Viva Toro is the food. It is well prepared, with just the right amount of spice and  very generous. Try the Lime Chicken soup, this is not the chicken soup your grandmother makes. The Shrimp Plantain Mofongo is very special. Mofongo has to be freshly made, if it is reheated or served cold it is like eating a brick. The only quibble is that the food seemed more Puerto Rican rather than Tex-Mex.

At Ditmas Estates LLC, real estate, we believe that your neighborhood, its restaurants, stores and services is as important as the home you buy.

Dinner for two without drinks is about $ 70.

BTW, I did not get a chance to ride the mechanical bull, but now I have a reason to go back.
